DhO Gathering - Providence RI

What: Potluck at "Cheetah House", A Dharma House near Brown University (www.cheetahhouse.org)

Who Will be there?
Members of the Contemplative Development Mapping Project: neuroscientists, monastics, Philosophers and Buddhist scholars who are combining their expertise to gain clarity about states and stages.
Scientists studying the Dark Night (http://www.buddhistgeeks.com/2011/09/bg-232-the-dark-night-project/)
DhO and dharma friends like Tarin, and the scientists who scan the brains of DhO members and other advanced yogis

Who is invited? Anyone who is passionate about practice, loves dharma discussions and friends
What to bring? A dish and a friend (or two) and (depend on how far away you live).. a sleeping bag

Anyone know if an European such as myself could possibly arrange to attend this in the short amount of time between now and the time of the event?

Stain, I think you should be able to. You will just need a flight and a place to stay (it sounds like a sleep over since we bring sleeping bags, but if you want to stay longer then you'll need a hotel.). Both of these requirements are doable and will probably be cheaper if you make arrangements sooner rather than later. I will be flying into the states on the 25th from europe myself.

Oh. My mistake. You will need a visa depending on your country and then getting a passport will take a few weeks. Sorry about that.
