Retreats with less sitting?

Hello! Are there retreats in which the sitting part is secondary? maybe with more walking and working, or even lying. Or otherwise where it is possible to lie on a lawn chair for how much it is needed, and that wouldn't be considered as a problem.

Many retreat centers will make accommodations for someone who suffers from chronic pain. I suggest calling and talking to one of the retreat managers to explain your situation and see how they can help.

Thanks Eran! It's not cronic pain in the sense of nerve damage, i've got some backpain due to muscular contractures, and over 2-4 hours of formal sitting, even is scattered, it's too much strain to keep straight. I'm thinking about gaia house. Good info thanks again!

Any of the retreats with Open Dharma, or their related groups/teachers. http://www.opendharma.org/
They do deep rest retreats with lots of lying down.

Thanks. I've asked a local center and it's fine for them if i take a chair, or go lye outside the hall.
