How does one private message members?

I'm unable to see any option on how to do it?

Near the top of a page there is a row of links: Home Discussion Messages Wiki Links FAQs

Clink on "Messages"

On the Messages page click Compose

Start typing the name of the recipient in the recipient field and click on the correct name that appears in the drop down list.
