Dear All,

I will be in New York City, New York on March 23rd and was wondering if people might want to get together and go out to dinner somewhere and talk dharma. Was thinking 7pm or so until whenever. I have some ideas for restaurants, but these might be best selected from after there is something like a head-count.

Will try to make reservation shortly to try to secure enough space for good conversation, as it looks like we will be about 15-20 people at this point.

If you have any opinion on the following four options that have been suggested, let me know in the next day or two:

- 99 Favor Taste, Chinatown.  Everyone knows this is the best hotpot in town.  Very social, all family style.  They have 'coves' that you can reserve that are quiet-ish. http://www.99favortaste.com/  (Lower East Side is best, East Village also good. Others are super inconvenient)

- Nomad.  Affordable (for NYC) Moroccan in the East Village.  Has private room. http://nomadny.com/ 

- Gnocco.  Nice Italian, midrange, has back room, East Village. http://www.gnocco.com/

- 88 Palace, Chinatown.  Dim Sum.  classic

Alright, I have made reservations in the name of Ingram at 99 Favor Taste Lower East Side 285 Grand St Saturday March 23rd at 6pm. We will have a room for 14 people and a table that can hold 8. It is not perfect, but it hopefully will do, and we can wander around and change seats and have a good time.
