I don’t know what's available in your country, but if the series 3% is available, I found it very compatible to darknight.

I should perhaps add a caveat to my recommendation: that series is pretty dark, so if you are looking for a feelgood series, that’s not it. Personally, in darknight territory I don’t do very well with cute and superhappy. Validation of the suffering works better for me, as long as there is a message of compassion in it.

aloha edward,

At malcolm's suggestion I recently watched "resurrection: ertugrul" on netflix. I only watch tv when I'm doing some mindless handwork, like sorting out macnut kernels from the shells, or trimming buds. It was a little more difficult being as the show is in turkish and you have to watch the subtitles, but the dialog was pretty simple and with 76 episodes in the first season alone, after awhile the turkish (and certainly the arabic, with god's permission) starts to make some sense. The show is like an islamic, low budget "game of thrones." If you think everything on netflix is crap - a contention I cannot argue with - you might find this show refreshing. Inshallah.

   Allahu akbar.
