The next DhO meet in London is May 20th at 12 midday at Vantra in Soho. Our meets are now a regular thing on the third Sunday of each month at the same venue. The address is given at the bottom of the post.

Anyone who has an open and investigative approach to enlightenment/contemplative practices is welcome, including lurkers on this site and non-members. I've had some interest from non-practitioners and those who are into energetic practices etc so I expect some interesting discussion in the next few meets.

If you're feeling a touch shy then feel free to ask questions here or to PM me. I will be along at 11:45 if anyone wants an introduction. If anyone requires assistance in terms of accessibility or transport, we may be able to help.

Sorry, Olaf; as Bagpuss said, it didn't look like anyone was coming this time, so it was cancelled - usually several people register their intent to definitely attend here on DhO beforehand. You're very welcome to come to the next one. (It'd be good to catch up with you too, Thom.)

Lesson learned - we'll doggedly continue with our plans for future meets irregardless of expected attendance, to bear in mind this 'eleventh hour' factor.

Would people like to have a meet at another date this month to make up for this one? Please post here or create a thread if so.

I'd recommend that people do either mention that they're coming on here or PM me in the future - lurkers and casual drop-ins are very welcome but it goes to show that we can't guarantee that a meet with go ahead without at least a couple of people saying they'll definitely be along.

I'm going to set up an email address and perhaps a Facebook account to help there to be as many points of contact as possible

Right, Paul and I are going to meet up to talk Dharma anyways, so anyone else who fancies a last-minute rush to central London, post in this thread (rather than using the PM function which isn't so good on my phone) and I can let you know where to go.
