Affirmation Obssession

I have made a few comments on this forum and I am met sometimes with affirmations such as:

- you need to calm down
- you need to focus on your breath and relax

Why are people so focused on affirming things - that is, assuming - instead of questioning?

I straight out pointed out that there are more than 10th S. Jhannas, nobody asked which or how the hell I know that.

Is that some form of ironic dharma humor I am not aware of? roflmao

The best one I received was: "you are not qualified to teach".

At least the person figured out I am here to _teach_ stuff emoticon

I mean, if people stop with the Affirmation Obsession and start making good questions ;-)

I'm not a moderator, but please: stop creating so many topics.

I'm a DhO moderator, and I'm asking you to stop creating all these random topics, too. It's disruptive and annoying. You could easily put all that you have written here on just one topic. I'm now locking this topic, and I'm hoping, Evangeline, that you'll be able to contribute meaningfully here.

It appears from a few of your comments that you're promoting a personal brand. A quick search using Google made that more apparent to me. If that's the case, then you need to restrict that kind of activity to the appropriate place on DhO - the topic category called "Books and Websites."

Thanks,
